How to get to Baikonur
Baikonur is an area with a special access regime. We collect documents, submit the application, and accompany the approval process until the permit is issued.

Preparing for the expedition
We’ve gathered answers about permits, documents, accommodation, and trip organization. If your question isn’t here, the RG Travel team will handle it personally.
You send us a color scan of your passport or national ID — for citizens of Kazakhstan and Russia. We prepare the application, submit the documents for approval, and after receiving permission, we process the pass for entry into the city of Baikonur and visiting the program sites.
For citizens of Kazakhstan and Russia, documents must be submitted at least 14 working days before the trip, excluding weekends. For foreign nationals, the recommended timeframe is significantly longer — at least 45–50 days before the visit date.
Yes, children can visit Baikonur and participate in the tour. Before booking, please inform us of the child’s age — the team will clarify the document requirements and program specifics for your family.
Accommodation in Baikonur is provided at the Tsentralnaya Hotel. The RG Travel team arranges the booking — you won’t need to search for a hotel on your own.
We organize the intercity itinerary, accommodation, permit processing, escort, and site visits according to the program. The exact list of included services is specified in the program you will receive after applying.
